Our name, Artemesia, comes from the Latin term for moxa, which is artemesia vulgaris, or common artemesia. Artemesia is a beautiful, vibrant plant that is used for moxibustion (moxa) in Chinese medicine. Essentially, the acupuncture point is stimulated with the deeply penetrating, yet gentle warmth of the artemesia herb.

Artemesia Acupuncture is a great place! The providers are all very professional and experienced, and it's a business you can count on! If you are coming for fertility or smoking cessation, please let us know; as there are additional forms. Avoid all extremes such as a big meal or vigorous exercise 4-6 hours before and 4-6 hours after your initial and all subsequent treatments.
