Your Premier Destination for Live Theatre and Arts Education
City Springs Theatre was founded in 2017 by Sandy Springs residents with a vision to elevate local arts through world-class musical theatre and education. As a Presenting Partner of the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center, we combine regional talent with Broadway-caliber productions to foster cultural and economic growth. Our Executive Director Natalie DeLancey and Artistic Director Shuler Hensley lead a team dedicated to artistic excellence, community engagement, and accessible arts education. Since our inception, we have served over 300,000 patrons and 150,000 students through mainstage shows, educational programs, and our Conservatory initiative launched in 2018. Our Conservatory trains future performers and technicians through private lessons, pre-professional companies, and summer programs for youth aged 12-18. We partner with the Sandy Springs Foundation and rely on community support to maintain 40% of our annual budget through donations. Our productions feature live orchestras, employ Broadway stars alongside local professionals, and include scholarship programs ensuring no student is turned away due to financial barriers. With 8601 Dunwoody Place as our administrative hub and the Byers Theatre as our performance venue, we serve metro Atlanta through ticket sales and educational outreach. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in critical acclaim from sources like the AJC and Broadway World, which recognize us as a leading theatrical force in the region. We maintain transparency through donor privacy policies and publicly available institutional sponsorships, ensuring accountability to our supporters. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we depend on individual, foundation, and corporate gifts to sustain operations and expand our impact.

Terrible customer service. Disorganized. Ticket sales refund and cancellation policies are not obvious and less than transparent. Will never attend an event at this location.
