Beautiful location for a ride, our guide Izzy was great, and our horses were so relaxed. We were originally supposed to go a couple of months ago and had to reschedule last minute due to an injury and the owner was very accommodating even though we were outside of the cancellation/reschedule window. A note to anyone who hasn't had a ride like this before, bring some cash so if you have a good time you can tip your guide!

I took my daughter on a horse ride for her 5th birthday. I wrote an email before booking online to check what options we had for a 5-year-old who had never ridden a horse before. The owner left me a voicemail reply that kids are permitted to ride solo OR tandem with an adult, depending on the child's level of comfort and experience. I opted to ride tandem and easily booked the ride online. I followed the instructions on how to find the ranch and had no problems. I recommend bringing a helmet for you/your child to wear, as the ranch does not supply them. (I brought one for my daughter.)

Had an amazing time with spectacular autumn views! A&A and Ginger were wonderful, really enjoyed my ride (Bonnie was a sweet and beautiful horse) through the golden aspens and through the old mining ruins. Highly recommend!
