The Pines Motel * Guest Haus has been in the Frantz / Nielson family for nearly 50 years. We're John and Nancy Nielson, and our goal is to offer you true hospitality at an affordable price. The atmosphere is that of a small European guesthouse that's surrounded by an acre of tree-covered lawn.

The Pines Motel is located conveniently in downtown Driggs, ID. Most everything in Driggs is within walking distance and Grand Targhee is just 20 minutes away. We're located on HWY 33, one block south of the only stoplight in Driggs. We're across the street from the U.S. Bank and Broulim's grocery store, and just north of the red Wells Fargo Bank.

My mom (Rosemary) passed on about two years ago. Many of you who stayed at the Pines in the 70's and 80's may remember her and my dad (Charles) who ran this place together for almost twenty years. I thought they'd owned it forever, but now John and I will begin our 30th year here in June. What a ride it's been, and what an example of steadfastness and compassion my folks were to us!
