After a 42 year hiatus in playing the piano, I started up again, literally from ground zero. I have learned more in three years than I ever dreamed possible. Christy is my teacher, my coach, and my cheerleader. She truly makes learning piano fun. I've been taking piano lessons from Christy for about 2 years and couldn't be happier with my progress.
Christy is a talented and competent instructor whose lessons center around where you are as a student. She is encouraging and supportive and challenges you just enough to make each lesson helpful and fun! I enjoy my lessons with Christy. She has the fine ability to focus on a few key aspects at each lesson, and I go away feeling that I have gained in musical understanding and confidence to play better.
