Here you'll be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Enjoy fishing from two lakes or relax by a campfire and listen to the sounds of the loons. Enjoy two swimming areas that offer a water slide, bongo raft, swim rafts and a water mat. Both swinning area are marked for your safety. One beach is sandy for all ages to play in. Or get on the lake with one of our rental items.

Darrel Mensik started Camp Holiday Campground in the late 50's. Mr. Mensik started with one cabin and 6 wooded sites along the southern shores of the lake. Then one day in 1978 on a late cool September morning, Ann Erickson drove from southern Minnesota looking for a family business to raise her 2 daughters and son, while her husband Harvey, continued to work in the cities during the week.

Camp Holiday offers full hookups, water & electric, primitive tent sites and seasonal sites in a resort with beaches, docks, a game room, WiFi, playgrounds and much more. All Holiday have a 3 or more night minimum and are charged at the Fri-Sat High Season Rate. Deposit for 5 to 7 night stays. All deposits are refundable up to 21 days prior to the 1st day of our reservation, minus $10 cancellation fee.

3 and 4 night stays start or end on a Saturday in cabins and Sunday for Eagle Trail and Northwoods. All cabins have A/C, HD DirecTV, WIFI, and full kitchens. The cabins offer microwaves, coffee pots, pots and pans, dishes, kitchen utensil and bed linens. A starter kit of toilet paper and garbage bags is provided.

I have to say you have the best kept secret as I have come to the Brainerd/Garrison area for years and did not know you were tucked away in a very quiet, beautiful resort. Trust me, I will see anyone coming up that way and needing a place to stay will know about Camp Holiday. We were looking for a place to spend Memorial Day with our daughter (age 22) who had spent a year in Iraq, her boyfriend and our two sons (age 17 and 8).
