Sacred Surf was born from a deep respect for the ocean and the desire to share our passion for surfing through proper instruction. As the top surf school on Cape Cod, we have designed a program that aims to teach our customers not only the basic techniques of how to get up on a board, but also to understand the many components of surfing on Cape Cod, including ocean and sand patterns, proper etiquette, and safety precautions.

We also buoy a shark repellant device, called a Shark Shield, which we float around our lessons. You can learn more about the device on their website. Of course, no one can guarantee your safety in an outdoor sport like surfing. Surfers deal with sharks all over the world, however we are doing our best to mitigate the risk in the changing waters on Cape Cod and make sure you have a great surfing experience.

We offer a number of different surf lesson packages to accommodate all individuals and groups - from the beginner to advanced level! All of our surf lessons are held at either Marconi or Whitecrest Beach, both located in Wellfleet. All boards and wetsuits are included with the surf lesson. The Ocean Classroom and Private Group lessons maintain a 1:4 ratio of instructors to students.
Paddleboard Tours

We offer bayside paddleboard tours for individuals and groups. All of our tours launch out of First Encounter Beach in Eastham, or Indian Neck Beach in Wellfleet. All boards and paddles are included. Guided paddleboard tours are a unique way to explore the beautiful waters and inlets of Outer Cape Cod.

The unloading area in the Marconi Beach Parking lot. Please note that between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. there is a $20 fee to enter the national park. Water, sunscreen, and towels are the only supplies you will be responsible for on the day of your lesson. We provide all the boards and wetsuits for lessons, camps or SUP tours.
