Report
A hearing test is really more accurately described as a series of tests. Different hearing tests are used during an audiologic examine to evaluate how well the different parts of the ear function. During a hearing aid evaluation, Dr. Jeff will discuss different hearing aid styles, colors, technologies and benefits.

Your First Visit
Report
Our initial meeting takes about 90 minutes and costs $49.95 (to be applied toward cost of hearing aids if needed). I find out what you think your hearing problems are and if possible, I get input from your family and friends. I evaluate the health of your outer ear and eardrum to see if your hearing problem is due to the build up of ear wax.
Hearing Aid Fitting
Report
If you've recently been evaluated for hearing loss, Dr. Jeff will recommend hearing aids if a decline is present. After selecting the best hearing aids for your specific needs, you will schedule a hearing aid fitting. The hearing aid fitting is a crucial appointment to help you understand how to navigate your new devices, which is why the audiologist at The Hearing and Tinnitus Center will complete a number of steps.
Hearing Aid Repair
Report
Although hearing aids have become more technologically advanced, they are still prone to developing issues after extensive use. After all, most hearing aids last anywhere from four-to-five years and having anything for that long - especially when the components are so small and minute - is at risk for getting lost or broken at least once.
