Former military police man/ veteran here. Working with First coast security for 11 months. I was 1 month away from a full year with FCS, after 1 year you are eligible for PTO. Crazy right. So what do you know. After 11 months of employment with 0 complaints, i get laid off for absolutely no reason. Other than I was discriminated against. Luckily my lawyers have been compiling a case for the last 9 months. Turns out FCS HAS DONE THIS TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS. Can you say LAWSUIT . This is how you treat veterans? This is how you treat hard working folks who are trying

I'm not going to write the company overall by the lack of professionalism by their officers however when an officer is asked a question and he defensively replies that the job doesn't matter to him and that he will hurt somebody I don't feel that this is the correct mind of her protection matter of fact is kind of scary

I have dealt with FCS staff several times in my field of work, particularly in the Plantation in ponte vedra Beach. These guys are always eager to to help me in order to better help the residents of the neighborhood. I just now, witnessed a scenario where it was clear that a bunch of papers had flown out from a car in front of the neighborhood. Instead of leaving those people to deal with the mess in front of their neighborhood, one of the security officers was helping these folks to get the mess cleaned up for the good of the community and those people. Working for FCS has been great so far. When I applied for the job I was called by Scott within the hour and he got me right in for an interview. I was also able to talk with Captain Cellix in a timely manner and he got me in the class very quickly and on a post immediately. Everyone that I have come into contact with at FCS has been very helpful, welcoming and professional. They are more than your average security company. They want you to feel self worth and show you this is a brotherhood. Many of the officers have been here a while and they are great people to work with.
