After the tattoo is completely dry, apply a thin film of A&D Ointment, 3-4 times a day for the next 2 days. After the second day, use a unscented water based lotion like Lubriderm or equivalent until the skin returns to its pre-tattoo condition. Usually within 2-3 weeks. If redness occurs switch to Bacitracin.
