This allows us to maintain our high quality instruction while keeping everyone safe by using the latest technologies to maintain social distancing and yet provide the same exact experiences of a driver ed classroom without the worries.

Need your license? In Texas, you need to pass a driving test to earn your drivers license, whether you are a teen or an adult. Get ready for the road test with behind-the-wheel training! In-car drivers training is a great idea even if you already know how to drive (we do an incredible job with nervous first time drivers of any age).

Drive Smart Driving school of Carrollton and The Colony Texas offers the Texas Department Of Public Safety Third Party Approved Behind The Wheel Road Test to anyone who resides in Texas. The road test is the final step to obtaining your Texas Drivers License. Please select the location you would like to test at and read the testing requirements and cancellation/refund policy prior to scheduling.
Adult 6 Hour Class

So take our 6-hour class to get your Adult B Restricted Drivers License, then schedule a road test right after that (In English or Espanol). This class is required by the State of Texas for individuals between the ages 18 to 24 to take, although anyone 18 and older may take it, and take the DPS written test at our school.
