The Lock & Mule derives its name and the concept for its design from the great history of Lockport and the I&M Canal, which began with Lock 1 in Lockport and ended in LaSalle with Lock 16. The I&M canal connected Lake Michigan and the St. Lawrence Seaway with the Gulf of Mexico via the great Illinois and the Mississippi Rivers.

The Naval Air Station in Glenview was in operation for most of the 20th Century and remains an integral part of Glenview's history. Many pilots, including Neil Armstrong and George H. Bush, were trained there. Hangar Two is a tribute to the naval air station and celebrates its history through its aviation-inspired design and adventurous, global food offerings.

The debate is on with this tropical dish, some have said South East Asian and some say Caribbean, our delicious jumbo shrimp is encrusted with panko & freshly toasted coconut and tropical dipping sauce. This twist on a traditional Thai Sweet Chili sauce with fresh mango, red pepper slaw, snap peas, fried rice noodle with crispy calamari topped with jalapeno.
