Each Rembrandt concert brings great music to you-and brings you into the music. Intimate venues pull you close to the performers, while thoughtful program notes and commentary offer insights that deepen your connection with the music. Complementary Encore! receptions provide a relaxed, friendly setting for meeting the performers and enjoying a glass of wine after each concert.

Supporting young musicians through an annual high school chamber music competition and educational outreach initiatives. Founded in the fall of 1990, Rembrandt Chamber Musicians features six of the most highly accomplished musicians in the Chicago area, including principal members of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Thirty-five years ago, four friends performed an intimate concert of chamber music in the home of Jean Allard. What began as a delightful afternoon event blossomed into years of friendship and musicmaking. With the generous support of Jean and WFMT, Rembrandt Chamber Players was founded in the fall of 1990.
Young Artists

Founded in 1995, the Rembrandt Chamber Musicians Annual High School Chamber Music Competition is widely regarded as one of the premier competitions of its kind in the Midwest, drawing participants from the Music Institute of Chicago, Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, Midwest Young Artists, Merit School of Music, and a variety of public and private schools.

The Rembrandt Young Artists Outreach Program introduces middle and high school students to classical and contemporary chamber music through activities that enhance self-esteem, nurture creative expression, and foster collaboration, bringing peer-led interactive educational sessions to Chicago area schools that have no established music curriculum.
