This was such a fabulous stop! We loved every minute of our time buying pottery at Martinez Pottery. From being able to view the Potter throwing the dishes on the wheel and seeing the kiln train they use. Such an educational stop for our family. Not to mention the pottery is absolutely gorgeous! The staff at the shop were unbelievably kind and talked to us all about the process, etc... we met one of the artisans named Christine in the parking lot and she shared some "not rocks" with our children which was so kind of her. We will be sure to stop again, this is a gem of a location if you happen to

Mr. Martinez and his pottery are the last vestige of the renowned white clay potters in Marshall TX. There is a large warehouse/studio/shop off US59 N outside Marshall TX. Selection in the shop includes mugs, bowls, plates crocks, pet bowls, mixing bowls, etc. Some designs are classic double blue stripe others have Texas wildflowers or TX Flags. Fair prices. Remember this is a small, family run business; Call ahead to ensure they will be open when you visit.

Great experience at the store today. Very friendly, reasonable prices, good selection, and overall great time. The large viewing window in the store into the production area was fascinating and a great touch to see how the pottery is made and makes all of the pieces a little more personal. Will definitely recommend.

Tried to place an online order. Due to a problem with the website, there was no way to enter payment info. Called to rectify the issue. The lady that answered said there was a problem and would have the "boss lady" return the call and get it taken care of. About a week now, no call. Guess they don't want the business or need it I try to buy USA but this is a poor way to treat customers.

This place must have sold since we were there last. There were not very many pots and the prices were high. They had some plants but not like a couple of years ago. Their focus has changed so much I have to speculate that this business has a new owner.

This place is amazing. I was in the area and went by their retail store. It is addictive. Such high quality pottery at a very reasonable price.l went back four different times. It is several hours from my home but I am sure I can think of something to get back there in the future.
