If you have pain between doses, you may take Motrin (ibuprofen) 400 - 600 mg every six hours as need. Constipation - several effective stool softeners are available over the counter at your local drug store: Sennakot, Colace, milk of magnesia and eating prunes are very helpful to relieve constipation.
