Dr Rutledge is from Saraland, AL and now resides in Gulf Shores. He attended the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has one daughter, Frances (2), and one son, Ellis (1), with his wife Erin. Dr. Rutledge is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Sometimes, a toothache can be caused or aggravated by a piece of debris lodged between the tooth and another tooth. Avoid placing an aspirin between your tooth and gum to relieve pain, because the dissolving aspirin can actually harm your gum tissue.
