Completed major interior upgrades to Apostolic Christian Highland Oaks common areas and started on Resident rooms. Sold the Bode Road facility and constructed a 49-bed skilled/ intermediate care facility at 2750 W Highland Ave, our current location. Apostolic Christian Resthaven was incorporated through the proceeds of a will from a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Elgin to care for our church family and the community.
After extensive research, planning, and building, the first Resthaven was built at 971 Bode Road in Elgin, and was licensed for 31 sheltered-care beds.

Highland Oaks is a Nursing Home that provides skilled and intermediate care for 50 people (4 private rooms, 23 shared rooms). Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses provide 24/7 nursing care. Ample certified nursing assistants provide for the personal care needs of each resident. We serve a variety of homemade style meals prepared in-house for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
