Our tradition began with Ned Foltz, a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Art, who transitioned from teaching art to mastering the craft of redware. We specialize in handcrafted pottery using 200-year-old Pennsylvania German techniques, preserving historical methods like sgrafitto and slipware while incorporating modern lead-free glazes. Our work is created in an 1840s stone building, originally a one-room schoolhouse, which we've expanded to include kilns and clay-mixing facilities. Each piece is individually hand-signed, ensuring quality and authenticity.We participate in 20-30 annual craft shows across multiple states, sharing our heritage with collectors and enthusiasts.
