Back in 2009, I saw a need in the area for a barn that provided high-quality coaching, horse education, and horse care, as well as a safe learning environment for newer riders. Aiming for excellence, our ideal True North, we foster confidence-boosting education, support, and comradery, growing into a village of well-rounded, competitive horsewomen.
The kids and adults in the True North family encourage each other in the pursuit of their goals, whether they be to qualify for National Championships or feel confident and safe enough to join us for a conditioning trot at the beach at low tide. Grand or small, we help each student in our village experience confidence through competence and aim for their own True North.

I grew up in the sport of Eventing. My mother, an "R" judge and well-known sporting artist, Heather St Clair Davis, helped establish the sport in Area 1. My childhood was filled with going to Pony Club rallies, Eventing, and helping train and show the home-bred young horses at our Cleeve Cloud Farm in Vermont.

It is incredibly difficult to be competitive without the right program and training space. True North's facilities are designed to give the event horse and rider everything they need to be top-notch competitors. Access to miles of trails for hacking and conditioning (No excuses for unfit horses here!)

The True North Lesson Program is designed to introduce new and established riders to the wonderful sport of eventing. True North coaches are not only highly experienced, and Massachusetts Riding Instructor Certified, we are a United States Pony Club Riding Center. These designations mean that we teach nationally recognized systems of riding and care for horses that emphasize safety and putting horses first.
