Electro-Media Design, Ltd. was founded in 1990 by Jeff Loether, ISHC to provide AudioVisual consulting and design, with a mission of creating a supportive, cooperative environment in which talented professionals can grow, flourish, and express their creativity.

Now an industry recognized leader, EMD offers a full range of AudioVisual systems design and acoustical consultation with expertise in audio, video, control, and related presentation, entertainment, and communications technologies.Our practice has also expanded to include AudioVisual Operational and Management consulting to address the entire AV systems lifecycle.

We distinguish Consulting Services as activities involving surveys, research, analysis and reporting as compared to Design Services, which create drawings and specifications. We develop detailed designs for all of the disciplines we represent and work closely with the Owner's design teams to coordinate and optimize the integration of the technologies with the architecture.

The pandemic of 2020 has accelerated the use and acceptance of virtual meeting tools and systems that have now become standard elements of face-to-face meetings. To help venues with this transition we have developed the Electro-Media ReadyRoom, a performance-based design concept that ensures meeting spaces enhance, rather than impede, the technologies required to support hybrid events.

We provide consulting for various public and private sector clients including performing arts, sporting venues, corporate boardroom and training facilities, and institutional government and educational facilities.
