Uncommon Coffee Roasters is a small batch specialty coffee roaster in Saugatuck, Michigan that was founded by Guy Darienzo and Stephen Keye as a cafe by the name of Uncommon Grounds. The wonderful aroma of freshly roasted coffee was the talk of the town as Guy & Stephen began roasting their own coffee out of the cafe on Hoffman Street.
The cafe became the hub of their new wholesale roasting business, supplying coffee to many of the local restaurants and bed & breakfasts. Due to popular demand the roasting side of the company was moved to it's current location in Douglas, Michigan. Over the course of the next 10 years business grew to what it is now, servicing more than 200 small business and large corporations throughout the midwest.
