Future Student

A new student is a high school or high school equivalency graduate who has never attended our college. A returning student is a former SCC student reenrolling in a curriculum program following a break in enrollment that exceeds 15 months. A special credit student does not intend to complete a degree, diploma, or certificate at SCC.

All applicants are now required to complete documentation for the North Carolina Residency Determination Service. Residency determination establishes if students should have in-state or out-of-state tuition. If you need assistance completing the SCC application or the North Carolina Residency Determination application, you are welcome to come to Stone Hall Monday-Friday between 8 and 5.

Sandhills Community College offers more than 100 Associate degrees, diplomas and certificates. Under the heading of University Studies are transfer associate degrees in Art, Science, Engineering and Fine Arts. For those interested in moving directly into the workforce we offer Associate of Applied Science degrees in everything from Massage Therapy to Automotive Systems Technology and Civil Engineering to Culinary.
