Amidst all the excitement about the area's only sports franchise, the statue of a Bombers player with two children - which stands on the sidewalk outside the historic hotel - reminded attendees that the Bombers of the future have an historic pedigree. Sixty years before the current Bombers inaugural season, the original Bryan Bombers brought professional baseball to the Brazos Valley.
The 1947 Bombers were part of the new Lone Star League, a Class-C circuit that boasted eight teams in locales like Henderson, Jacksonville, Lufkin, and Tyler. The team played at brand new Bomber Field, since renamed Travis Field - the very same ballpark the Bombers now call home. The original Bombers managed to distinguish themselves, but not in the most desirable manner.

Directions & Parking
Report
As a season ticket holder, you will have free parking for the entire season! Founders Club ticket holders will have access to the VIP parking section, which is located in the parking lot next to Nutrabolt Stadium. Parking is also available in the grass lot across the street from the stadium for free thanks to Burger King!
Internship Program
Report
The Bombers internship program is very different from traditional internship opportunities. Many other teams will assign interns to a particular department, burying participants in the organization's hierarchy and limiting your experience. When the time comes to enter the sports industry full-time, interns rarely have the experience teams look for when they're hiring.
Partnerships
Report
Partners don't have to assemble a marketing program by coordinating with multiple media outlets; with the Bombers, a multitude of opportunities are available, all of them affordable and beneficial, all under one roof. Location Branding - You don't have to be a multinational corporation to enjoy the benefits of naming an area or element of the ballpark.
