Coming from a family in the auto parts business, Kevin's desire to work on cars began at the early age of eight. He was allowed to hold the drop light for his father as he serviced the brakes on his family's 1968 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon. He would intently watch his dad and began fixing things himself.
He rebuilt his first carburetor at the age of 12. He purchased his first car at the age of 15 and began working and paying his way through college repairing cars out of a mini storage unit. A few years after he married, he received formal auto repair training and became a Ford Certified Technician as well as receiving ASE Certification.

Once a year, all vehicles in the state of Texas are required to have a $7.00 safety inspection prior to purchasing your yearly registration sticker. If you live within the emissions zone in Harris County, you will also be required to undergo safety and an emissions test for $25.50 prior to purchasing your yearly registration.
