The first step toward achieving a beautiful, healthy smile is to schedule an appointment. While we welcome referrals from patients' general dentists, a referral is not required to schedule a complimentary consultation to be evaluated by Dr. Fortney. If you need to cancel or reschedule an existing appointment, or if you require immediate attention, please contact our practice directly.

Comfort Care

True orthodontic emergencies are very rare, but when they do occur we are available to you. As a general rule, you should call the office when you experience severe pain or when you have a painful appliance problem that you can't take care of yourself. We'll be able to schedule an appointment to resolve the problem.
About Board Certification
Report
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to become a board certified orthodontist. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
HVO Kids Club
Report
Our HVO Kids Club program is designed for our younger patients, not quite ready for treatment. With consistent monitoring at a younger age, Dr. Fortney is able to track the growth and development of these kiddos and develop plans for treatment as needed. By utilizing early monitoring, some often overlooked issues can be documented and treated, if necessary.
