I have been a registered nurse (RN) since 1983. Most of my career has been spent caring for premature and special-needs infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). During this time, I understood the invaluable benefits of mother's milk for these special babies and I thoroughly enjoyed helping mothers breastfeed.
