Gamepoint Basketball is the premier San Diego basketball club program in both player development and college placement. Over the past 16 years, our program has sent over 150 kids to play at the collegiate level including NCAA Division I, II, and III; the NAIA; and junior college. Our players receive expert hands-on instruction from experienced and passionate coaches who have built solid relationships with college coaches around the country.
Because Gamepoint Basketball club teams play at some of the country's most prestigious tournaments an athlete's visibility and exposure on the national level greatly improves as does their chance of being recruited. The Gamepoint Basketball family believes that the opportunity to train and play basketball at the highest level should be available to all who are ready to put the work in.

Gamepoint Basketball is an elite basketball club program that serves San Diego County, Riverside County and Orange County. Since 2004 GP has grown to include high school and youth programs with 32 teams. Founded by Charlie Mercado as a way to stay connected to the game and share on his passion with young athletes, GP puts an emphasis building young men as both players and people.

The safety of our players, their families and our staff are of utmost importance to us. Currently, all team practices and workouts are being suspended. Our team is monitoring the situation and changing regulations, and while we can't wait to get back on the court you, for the time being we continue remote training.

Gamepoint Basketball is proud to have created one of the best Southern California high school club basketball programs. Gamepoint provides young athletes the opportunity to learn the mindset and necessary skills to compete at the next level. The GP organization ensures our players learn discipline, mental toughness, hard work and perseverance in a supportive and positive setting.
