Traumatizing experience. Went in for mental health reasons, they separated me from the person who brought me in and threatened multiple times to lock me up in an institution against my will. Dismissed me and told me I definitely needed to be institutionalized after I started having a panic attack and crying because they wouldn’t let my friend who brought me into my room. Refused to let me leave when I calmed down until I had my mother come. I am a 24 yr old adult. I had another adult there that brought me in but they refused to listen to anything I had to say and treated me like I was crazy.

The family clinic is fine and I have no issues there but as for the emergency room I had 2 bad experiences. The staff there was so rude to me, always rolling their eyes, have an attitude, the first time my nurse let out an annoyed sigh once she left my room. I've had to wait in the waiting room both times at least 25 mins while I was in pain. They thought I was faking my pain at one point (how can you fake a pain?) They transferred me to Manhattan and I was so relieved, I had a much better experience there. From now on any kind of emergency I am going to Manhattan.

Billing is a nightmare. My son was admitted due to an accident, which our insurance covers at 100%. I told them that night it needed to be filed with an accident code. Well it wasn't. Called in July, and you can't speak to anyone at the actual hospital about your bill, you have to call someone in Minnesota, yet any payments are sent to Arizona. Three hands in the pot and none are communicating with each other. So I called the place in Minnesota and told them it needed to be refiled as an accident. That was a month ago and the claim still hasn't been refiled. My insurance has called and requested

Always a great visit even when your sick the doctor Ditto and Jena albin are always so personal and professional and explain everything in simple English... The nurses are the best I’ve ever seen and I’m very picky trust me very pick. Cathrine and Anita are top notch nurses they keep you informed on every thing from time till Dr. will be in to… getting your prescriptions to the correct pharmacy and making sure you understand Dr.’s instruction and dosage of medications they rock all around!!! Even the receptionist are friendly and very pleasant to deal with they are all

Jenny White-Slough needs to find a new profession that she can be passionate about. Other staff members and patients I’ve talked to have had the same opinion and agree that she is not a nice person.
The rest of the hospital has been wonderful! They should get 5 stars. I give it 2 stars only because they continue to employ that DR.

They went above and beyond for my son and I. We walked in late they were about to close and they took one look at my son and wanted to help. They stayed late to help him. I couldn't find his insurance card and they let me call later to give it to them and took care of him. Thank you so much for taking care of us! Great doctors office that really cares!

I go there every 3 months to see Dr. Ditto for a follow up. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. However they do rather get busy because of having the walk in clinic as well but however Anita or Catherine let's me know what is going on and how long the wait is. While waiting I just typically go to the cafeteria and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. The lab staff is rather friendly and knowledgeable about getting your blood drawn whenever you need it.

A couple years ago I came in to the clinic side to get a really bad infection on my scalp checked out. I understand that walk-in appointments can take quite a while to get to since the doctors have to go back and forth between the clinic side and the...I don’t know, registered patient side? so I was ready to wait. My mother, who was my ride there, was a lot less patient and understanding. We waited in the lobby for around 3 hours before I could get seen. When I finally got in, I explained that I don’t have insurance since I work from home, don’t make much and can’t afford it. I have depression

This place is amazing!!!! We were in there twice in two days. The first time my husband was in and out with a diagnosis and they ran a bag of fluids no problems. The staff was amazing the first night making sure we had everything we needed. The next night the doctor was Jenna Albin. Jenna you are so thoughtful and through. You didn't give up… until you had an idea of what is going on. I heard from you more than I heard from his doctor at Via Christy which says a lot about the care in Wamego. Thank you and everyone at that hospital ER room because you are all amazing.

These people, don't know what they are doing. How'd did they get medical degrees. Don't waste your time or your family members time. Take them to a real hospital. Either Manhattan or Topeka. The will give you the run around all night long. You are suppose to help people. Not give them criticism. Let this be a lesson, we won't ever go back to that so called "hospital" you will get better medical advice in a back ally.

TERRIBLE!! I had to go to ER because of dog bite. Police and ER staff said that since it was not my dog, ALL charges and fees would be charged to owner of dog. A week or so later I got a bill from them. So I went up to the hospital billing dept and they said that the owner of the dog didnt have insurance so I would have to pay. I didnt have insurance either. After talking to TWO people from administration they agreed that I would NOT be charged. A couple years later now and guess what? The billing from Wamego City Hospital is on my credit report. SO, they turned it in even after they quit sending
