Installation includes precise measurements and customization to fit windows, doors, and commercial openings.
Automated Shutters
Somfy RTS automation systems enable convenient operation through handheld transmitters or wall-mounted switches. This technology allows scheduled deployment, random activation patterns for security, and integration with smart home systems. Our automated solutions combine ease of use with reliable performance for residential and commercial applications across South Texas.

We manufacture shutters to exact specifications using corrosion-resistant materials with powder-coated finishes in coordinated colors. Customization includes size adaptation for unique openings, operational preferences, and aesthetic requirements. Each installation receives personalized consultation to ensure optimal functionality and visual harmony with existing architecture.
Thermal Insulation Shutters
Laboratory-tested polyurethane shutter systems reduce heat transfer and noise pollution. These insulating properties lower HVAC costs while creating quieter indoor environments. Excellent service in every respect! The Holden technicians serviced five sets of powered shutters and replaced the motor in one unit. They demonstrated great attention to detail and were extremely careful with plants, sprinkler heads, and other things they had to work around. The quality of their work was absolutely first rate. Every aspect of all five shutter systems were cleaned in great detail, properly lubed and adjusted, and left in perfect working condition. The charges were very fair. Highly recommended!

I have had a horrible experience with Holden Shutters! Mr Holden had quoted me last year on shutters for my entire house, yet I was not financially ready to get the shutters. A few weeks ago, I made a call to Mr Holden to proceed with getting the shutters. He said he wanted to come out to my house to re-quote, which is understandably fair, so I said okay. He said he would contact me that week to schedule a daynever did. So I contacted him the following week and he said he would come out on a certain day. He also assured me I did not have to be there on the day since they were measuring on the

Jeremy and his team did a great job, communicated well, showed up reliably. The shutters look great and perform well. All his workers were polite and hardworking, if I had to install shutters again I would do it with Holden.

I'm very satisfied with the solar screens that were installed by Holden Security & Storm Shutters. They match perfectly with the exterior of my home. The service was fast and friendly, and was at a decent price point as well.

When we were looking to install storm shutters to protect our home's picture windows, we went with Holden Security & Storm Shutters. The shutters aesthetically compliment our home's brick color and they use quality material (thick). We have peace of mind knowing the new shutters will protect our windows from any storm. Update-Hurricane Hanna: 100% Protection. Neither air, nor rain were able to penetrate the shutters. The shutters did not rattle once. Our home was rather quite inside while Hurricane Hanna raged outside. It helped to keep our anxiousness to minimal levels. Thank you....
