At Irish Acres it is all about the horse. A family enterprise, we are committed to creating an environment where a horse will thrive. Our goal is for a horse to live the life they were meant to live. By nature horses are grazing, herd animals. As described in the pasture section, two acres of lush green pasture is allocated for each horse.

In addition to spending hours foraging in large lush pastures your horse will be fed the highest quality hay and grain. Each horses diet will be customized based on individual needs.
Pastures
Report
Horse are grazing, herd animals. Given the opportunity they will forage grass for about 16 hours a day, while walking six to eight miles along with other members of their herd. Our pastures have been designed with this in mind. There are 11 pastures ranging in size from two to five acres. Two acres of pasture are allocated for each horse, as recommended by the University of Florida.
