Our program offers a unique, customized curriculum for each age level. Our hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities target all aspects of early childhood development, while emphasizing the love of Jesus Christ. The accelerated elementary curriculum emphasizes the basic skills of reading and math augmented with studies in English, spelling, science, history, handwriting and health.

Wilmington Christian Academy, as a ministry of Grace Baptist Church, exists to assist parents in teaching students to glorify Jesus Christ in the pursuit of spiritual, academic, physical, and social excellence. Wilmington Christian Academy was founded in 1969 as a ministry of Grace Baptist Church. Since that time the Academy has grown to be the largest private school in southeastern North Carolina.

WCA exceeds the national average on yearly achievement testing and our high school students exceed state and national averages on the ACT (American College Test) which is administered annually to over 1 million college bound students. WCA' s college prep program prepares students to succeed in college.

Builds on the College Prep program by requiring additional classes and a 3.67 GPA or higher. Through the Academy's honors, college prep, general & resource programs, WCA provides one of the most comprehensive academic programs in the Wilmington area. In particular, the college prep and honors programs thoroughly prepare students for college admission and academic success at the post-secondary level.
