Nicker's Retreat, LLC, established in 2005 specializes in quality horseback riding lessons for students of all ages in a relaxed atmosphere. Nicker's Retreat, LLC is a family friendly barn oering lessons for all ages and levels from our "Little Nickers" to our adult riders. Our happy, healthy and safe horses and ponies are kid tested and parent approved!
Our English balance seat program is based on a proven curriculum taught by experienced and successful adults. Each lesson is carefully planned for skill building while having fun. Students can track their progress and attained skills through our student portal. Want to ride for recreation? We enjoy on and off-site recreational trail riding, trick training and obstacle courses among other fun and exciting experiences!

Nicker's Retreat, LLC newly improved format oers a summer camp experience that surpasses all competition! Summer Camp is open to all students, 5 to 14 years of age. By limiting enrollment, Nicker's Retreat, LLC 2021 camp format is designed to provide each camper with a high level of individualized attention and a generous amount of riding time.

We do more than just ride in circles! Our Farm specializes in English Balance Seat with a curriculum to encourage the development of new skills oered exclusively at Nicker's Retreat, LLC Our curriculum is a progressive educational opportunity where learning is more important than winning awards. But don't worry, we love to pass out certificates and earn ribbons!
Lesson Information

Lesson terms vary in length depending on the season. When signing up for lessons you are making the commitment to attend all the lessons in that session. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of each lesson - late arrival may result in loss of lesson without make-up. Riders under the age of 12 must have a responsible party present at all times Riders between 12-18 must have instructor consent to be left unattended.
Show Team
Report
Our Show Team competes in local horse shows that are entry level competitions in which riders compete on lesson horses. These shows are important as they oer an introductory level of competition which is great for introducing riders to the show ring and preparing for higher level horse shows. Showing on the NR Show Team is a fun, enriching and exciting experience.
Pony Parties

Party planning is easy with Nickers Retreat! We are excited to host Pony Parties for all occasions including birthdays, sports teams, scouts, graduations and holiday themed parties just to name a few. If you have a reason to celebrate, we have a Pony Party for you. Nickers Retreat parties are offered in two-hour time slots with flexibility to match your busy schedule.
