Photographing families allows me to witness and document people's lives during a really special time. As a parent, I know how emotional it is to think about your kids growing up. I understand the desire to preserve it somehow, to stop time. As a mom of two small boys, my favorite moments are the little ones we spend together reading books, playing, drawing, or just snuggling.
