Fox Creek Animal Hospital is far from your "average" Veterinary Hospital. We are THE Fox Creek Team filled with passion for helping animals. We LOVE what we do and want to make sure your pets recieve the best care that they truly deserve! Dr. Boyd was raised here in Ocala Florida on a true working thoroughbred horse farm.
Even as a young child she knew that she was meant to be a veterinarian. On the farm, she was able to surround myself with animals of all kinds (in fact Dr. Boyd even had the privilege to ride and handle three horses that ran in the Kentucky Derby!). Dr. Boyd attended Oak Hall High School in Gainesville and then continued and received my Bachelors in Biology at Stetson University.

Having just settled into a comfy position on the couch, my puppy, Sandy, jumps in my lap and smells horrible. What did you get into? Where have you been? Oh my! I guess we are getting a bath, I tell her. I'm sure you have been in somewhat of a similar. July has been designated as Pet Hydration Awareness Month.

We believe that routine wellness exams are incredibly important to the health of your pet. Early detection is invaluable in identifying underlying health concerns so that treatment options can be explored. During a wellness exam, your pet will receive a thorough full body examination. Wellness exams are also a perfect time to answer any questions you may have about your per.
Our Pharmacy

You talked, we listened. A lot of thought was put into creating a central pharmacy that allowed you to easily pick up your pet's prescriptions without having to stand in line at the front desk. Our goal in the near future is to included a pharmacy drive through window to lower your stress level and expedite the process.
Dentistry

Dentistry is one of Dr. Boyd's special interests. Our treatment room was specially designed to have a designated dental nook so that dental cleanings and procedures receive the highest level of care. This dental area is furnished with the industry's leading dental machine, which includes a LED ultrasonic scaler and high-speed drill.
Surgery
Report
Our surgical suite was designed to ensure sterility and efficiency. It is well equipped for spays and neuters, mass removals, or even emergency procedures like splenectomies and exploratory surgery. We are proud to have a highly advanced anesthesia monitor that includes EKG, blood pressure, body temperature, and oxygen saturation monitoring throughout the entire anesthesia process.
