Report
Help LWF maintain a strong voice for conservation in Louisiana. We are working to restore sustainability to Louisiana's coast, protect habitat for wildlife, and assure public access for outdoor recreation among other efforts. For 80 years, LWF has offered citizens a voice in the decision making process to protect wildlife and restore habitat.
Strategic Plan2020-2023
Report
Louisiana's wildlife depends on healthy, sustainable habitats that are increasingly vulnerable to climate change, shifting land uses and urban development. To reverse declines in the state's native plants and animals and sustain long-term biodiversity, we must support and promote ecosystem-level conservation management priorities.
Certified Wildlife Habitat
Report
Want to grow native plants and attract native species, including pollinating insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians and more? Your backyard could serve as a haven for wildlife through the Certified Wildlife Habitat program! In partnership with the NWF's Garden for Wildlife program, Louisiana Wildlife Federation is working to increase habitat for backyard wildlife species and protect pollinator populations.
Annual Convention
Report
The Federation convenes a stimulating Annual Meeting each year, providing a forum and opportunity for LWF's affiliates and individual members to establish policy and conservation objectives. Resolutions approved at the Annual Meeting can be found on LWF's Resolutions Database. LWF held its annual convention virtually in August again this year.

Report
The Edgar Veillon Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) program is focused on the development of future conservation leaders in Louisiana. The program was established in 2018 in honor of the late Edgar Veillon, a dedicated conservation leader and longtime member of Louisiana Wildlife Federation (LWF).
