The Saginaw Bay Yacht Club is the premier yacht club on the Saginaw River and Bay. Located one mile from the mouth of the Saginaw River in Essexville, vessels have quick, easy access to the Bay, the Great Lakes and beyond.
Established in 1894, the Club continues to add to its rich history in the Bay City/Essexville community by offering first-class nautical facilities for both power and sail along with many social activities and full dining facilities for the enjoyment of both boating and non-boating members.

Members can host their private special event at the Club. The SBYC has been the chosen facility to hold wedding receptions, graduation parties, office gatherings, fundraiser events, etc. If you have something in mind, please contact our general manager to secure a date and go over the details you envision for your special event.
