Owner and master mechanic, Merritt White, has been working on bikes since he was only 7 years old. After 2 decades of wrenching and working in the bike industry, he decided to fill a void in the local bike scene by opening ReCycles Bike Shop in 2005.
For over 10 years ReCycles has been a primary resource for both advanced riders looking for niche, boutique bikes and high-end service, as well as burgeoning riders looking for an entry-level bike that won't break the bank.In addition to helping those less fortunate in our community through servicing the bikes of the homeless and needy, ReCycles also offers mobile repair service through its newest addition, OnPoint Mobile Service.

We are a full service parts and repair shop, serving Greensboro and the surrounding areas for over 11 years. Whether it's bottom brackets or water bottle screws, we've got you covered. We'll even come to you with OnPoint, our moto-based mobile repair service! Front and rear shifting and braking adjustment, lateral spot wheel truing, chain clean and lube, overall safety check and bolt tightening, wipe down frame.

While our shop is heavily focused on bike maintenance and repair, we also stock new bikes from Rocky Mountain and we are an official dealer for Surly and Banshee. In addition to new bikes, we have a large stock of used bikes that we repair to professional standards and retail for simply the cost of parts and labor.

Recycles Bike Shop is a SCHEDULE based appointment repair shop that caters to the time frame of the customers. By scheduling appointments we can have more direct communication and a 1 on 1 experience with our customers. We also do house calls! If you need us to come by and pick up your bicycle at home or at your work, this can easily be scheduled in.

This custom-built Legend has been featured on Bike Rumor, as well as numerous other websites and blogs. It features a rare, brown DVO Emerald, Atomic Carbon hoops on Industry Nine hubs, as well as a custom XTR Di2 rear derailleur modified with Saint parts to accommodate the larger cassette.
