Sadly I didn't get my building but it wasn't because of Discovery. Blake the owner did everything she could to expediate the process the flaw lies with Carolina Carports.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Told me 4-6 weeks for installation after the site was ready. Turned into 16 weeks after the permit number was lost somewhere between them and CCI. Helpful at first but ZERO communication along the way. I had to call CCI myself to solve these problems. Not really sure what I paid them to do. They are unethically taking money knowing they cant fulfill the order in the prescribed time frame. They pulled the standard COVID excuse which Im super tired of hearing.

We were pleased with the initial order of our building from Discovery Buildings, however, when issues (over 13K in damage to our concrete driveway, irrigation, and pool drain line, no notification of permit inspection requirements, and it took 6 months for the building to be built after signing the contract) with the company they use to manufacture the buildings, Carports Anywhere, Discovery Buildings did not try to reach out to the company to help resolve the issues or provide any guidance to us. As long as Discovery Buildings is using Carports Anywhere as their manufacturer, I would not use this

Very very bad experience, completely disorganized. No communication between this company and the one that delivers the product (Carolina carports), they both blame eachother. They brought out the wrong size building, not once, but twice, then to get a hold of someone in charge was equally as difficult. Getting my deposit back as some other reviewers have mentioned was equally as hard and even though they brought the wrong product out twice and wasted my time, damaged my driveway and were generally unprofessional, they still wouldn't return the deposit until many phone calls etc etc. Beware and

Spent months working with Don Tait on designing a building. It probably shouldn't have taken that long but there was a lot of back and forth. Don sent me a pen and paper drawing showing what the cement pad should look like. My cement guy poured it, I signed the contract, sent my deposit and _finally_ Don sent in the order to Carolina Carports (CCI... also a s*** show). The installers showed up five weeks later (was told 2-5 weeks every time I called until two days before they were going to install) and the pad was wrong. Off by a foot and they couldn't do the install. Back to Don

I stopped in here on a recently Saturday to look at the products offered by Discovery Buildings and to get a feel about the customer service and their pricing schedules and service for a home project we are working on. Unlike most projects this one is a little more complicated than most - since permits and variances are required for phase two. I met with Don and explained what I was looking for and what the challenges might be, it became immediately clear his years of experience in the business were going to aid in my projects success. There were enough products assembled onsite to understand
