The art of dance extends beyond mere movement. There are direct correlations that link arts training to superior academic skills in math and reading as well as enhanced socialization skills such as communication and creative problem solving. It fuses all of the arts - combining music, dance, design, and drama.
Curriculum

DBK Dance and Performing Arts recommends that our students ages 2 1/2 - 4 take Ballet, Tap, and Tumbling. Students may take Jazz at the age of 5. Ballet is strongly recommended as a twice a week course after age 8. Any dancer interested in being a member of our competition groups must be recommended by their teacher, attend summer classes and summer intensive, and one other major workshop during the season.
Fees & Policies

Tuition is calculated by cost of semester divided into 9 payments, not by the number of weekly lessons per month. Any Account questions/concerns or in-studio payments must be done during these hours. Cash payments will only be accepted during these times, and should never be placed in the outside mailbox or drop box.
