Kyle Adamson, owner and lighting designer, was raised in Lexington and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After graduation, he gained valuable experience working for design/build firms in Dallas, Atlanta and Charleston, SC. He returned to Lexington in 2001.
Having a landscape design background has allowed Red Oak Outdoor Lighting to understand how landscapes will mature and the knowledge to illuminate outdoor spaces for all seasons. In 2011, he became the first Central Kentucky Lighting Professional to attain the Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technician (CLVLT) designation, which is administered by The Association of Outdoor Lighting Professional (AOLP).
