She is board certified in Pediatrics and fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. She is originally from Nepal. After completing medical school from Kathmandu Medical school at Kathmandu, Nepal, she came to the United States. She completed pediatric residency from Texas Tech health science center in lubbock, Texas.

After residency she moved to North Alabama to be with her husband while working for number of years at Athens limestone Hospital serving children of limestone county. She has particular interest in breastfeeding, Asthma, ADHD and obesity. She opened Primary Care Pediatrics and Family Medicine, P.C, to provide family friendly comprehensive medical care to children of all age from birth to 21 years.

Vaccines: Your baby likely had their first Hepatitis B vaccine while in the hospital if not we will provide at this visit. Safety becomes more of an issue now as your baby has a better grasp of objects and everything goes right into their mouths. Your baby may also be moving more. We continue our discussion of eating and start talking about safety.
Adult Care

Most insurance covers an Annual Wellness Visit. Some of the insurance plans may provide discounts in your premium if you complete it. Please bring any required wellness forms (Health Risk Assessment, Biometric Profile, Peehip Form etc.) to your wellness visit. The purpose of an Annual Wellness Visit is encouraging well being and identifying and managing risks factors to prevent illness or injury.
New Patients

Once we have received the completed paperwork, we will request patient's records from his/her previous provider. Please note, by law, offices have up to 30 days to send medical records. As soon as we receive those records and create a chart, we will contact you to let you know we can begin scheduling appointments.
