Ritchie is the Owner and Operator of Idaho Fireplace and Chimney. He boasts 8+ years of experience under his belt servicing, repairing, installing, and building fireplaces and chimneys and is certified with the Chimney Safety Institute of America as well as the National Fireplace Institute (NFI).
He is also a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) The majority of his training and experience come from the Midwest where some of the most challenging chimney and fireplace problems are found.He and his wife and two sons recently relocated to Meridian Idaho to bring his expertise to the people of the Treasure Valley.

We perform Level II safety inspections to ensure the safety and performance of your fireplace and chimney system. By inserting a video camera inside of the chimney flue, we are able to determine if dangerous conditions exist. If issues are found, our competent and certified professionals will work with you to find the best course of action on any repairs that are needed.

The Chimney Safety Institute of America recommends annual inspections for fireplaces and chimneys. If you own a home with a chimney and/or fireplace and need an inspection, you have come to the right place. We use specialized camera equipment to inspect the interior of your chimney to insure its safety alongside a visual inspection of all other parts of the system.
