11th Hour Farm & Equestrian Center is a privately owned full service horse boarding facility. We're located on 30 acres in northwestern Oakland County. We offer large grass pastures totaling more than 20 acres and are never over crowded! We have 5 acres of woods with groomed riding paths. We live on site and provide the TLC you expect for your horse.

Stalls cleaned daily - bedding is sifted, not hand picked which results in much cleaner bedding, fewer flies and considerably less "barn odor". Heated Observation Room -Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, VCR/DVD player & video library. It has always been our philosophy not to nickel and dime our boarders with surcharges and add-on fees.
Working Student

Interested in working around the farm in exchange for Dressage lessons? The work certainly isn't glamorous but doesn't involve mucking out stalls, but could involve just about any other job around the farm. One thing is certain, you will get dirty. A lot of knocking down cobwebs, dusting and cleaning, possibly some grooming & tacking up, etc.

In my opinion, a horse is the animal to have. Eleven-hundred pounds of raw muscle, power, grace, and sweat between your legs - it's something you just can't get from a pet hamster. The daughter who won't lift a finger in the house is the same child who cycles madly off in the pouring rain to spend all morning mucking out a stable.
