What a blessing to be able to capture this milestone in your life with Maternity Portraits. The best time to complete your maternity session is late in your third trimester, usually 28-34 weeks. This allows you to capture the fullness of your pregnant form but not be too uncomfortable for posing. If you are beyond 34 weeks; don't worry.

Besides being a full time Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and a Houston Newborn and Maternity Photographer, I enjoy being a wife and a loving mom to our 8 year old baby girl. After my husband, Michael Carr, and I were married we opened Michael Carr Photography. I began my photography career 18 years ago, assisting Michael and as a second photographer on 99% of the studios weddings.
The Studio

Our newborn and maternity photography studio is located in Houston, TX in a commercial office building near the Galleria. It is equipped with a sales room, camera room, and private changing/nursing/relaxation room. We also have maternity gowns that are shown in many of the photos you see on the website and on display.
