Dr. Bhakta completed his undergraduate work at the University of California at Riverside, majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He then pursued his podiatric medical degree at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California and received his degree in 2000.
Dr. Bhakta continued his post-graduate training by completing a podiatric internship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York that involved hospital and community podiatric medicine.Dr. Bhakta also participated in a podiatric surgical residency at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, New Jersey.

During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.

Accent Podiatry has foot doctors that are available to treat foot and ankle ailments such as diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts and painful calluses. Foot drop develops when nerves are damaged causing the inability to dorsi flex the foot causing constant stumbling and falls. The neurologist told me there was nothing that could be done and I would have to live with it. Needless to say I left that office very discouraged.
