Horseback Riding

Our horses are selected for their good temperament and disposition. With over 80 head of horse, we do not have a weight limit but sometimes the larger horses are out. If you wish to ride and weigh over 250 lbs, please contact us to be sure we have a horse to accommodate you during your visit. An additional charge may apply.
Fishing
Report
Our fishing pond is stocked with Blue Gill, Crappie, Catfish, & Bass, and is catch-and-release. We supply the rod, reel, and bait. There are picnic tables and swings around the fishing pond, so come out, relax, and enjoy the Smokies at their best! The fishing pass is valid for 3 days, so you can come out each day and fish for a one-time cost.

Our picnic tables are free to all of our guests. Bring your picnic baskets and enjoy the shaded picnic area along the Little Cove Creek. We have a foot bridge to walk over where the kids can wade in the creek and enjoy the hot Summer days! Picnic tables are located along the creek and around our fishing pond.

Big Rock Dude Ranch at Ponderosa, L.L.C. is conveniently located just outside of Pigeon Forge, close to Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, and Sevierville, TN. In Pigeon Forge, all traffic lights are numbered. Turn right at light #10 going south 441 in Pigeon Forge, or coming from Gatlinburg take the first left in Pigeon Forge at light #10.

My husband and I took our daughters and son here for a few hours. My hubby took our oldest daughter for a mountain horseback ride while the rest of us wondered their property. We visited the animals in the petting zoo, played on the jungle gym, and sat in the shade to relax. It was and awesome time.
