Ballet Classes
Our ballet program develops technical precision and artistic expression through Vaganova-influenced training. Students learn proper alignment, turnout, and classical repertoire while building foundational skills that support all dance forms. Classes emphasize musicality, grace, and progressive mastery for ages 3 through adults.
Summer Dance Camps

Founder & Artistic Director
Cindee established Ballet with Cindee Velle in 1983 after graduating from Towson State University. With decades of experience in ballet education and performance, she created a nurturing environment that prioritizes creativity and confidence-building through dance.
Aimee Velle Moran
Co-Owner & Competition Director
Aimee holds a BFA in Dance Performance from East Carolina University and has taught at BCV since her teenage years. As Competition Director, she guides students through advanced training while maintaining professional performance connections in the dance industry.
Rachel Otten
Senior Administrative Assistant
Rachel graduated from the University of Maryland with a Dance BA and brings extensive performance experience from Howard County Ballet. She teaches technique classes and competition coaching while managing administrative operations at BCV Dance Center.
Nikki Kelly
Program Coordinator
Nikki earned her BFA in dance performance and education from Towson University. With award-winning choreography experience and teaching expertise, she coordinates programs while mentoring students in various dance styles and performance techniques.
Anna Carlisle
Marketing Assistant
Anna received her BFA in Dance Performance from Towson University and trained at Broadway Dance Center. She creates inclusive dance experiences for students while managing marketing initiatives to expand BCV's community outreach.

My daughter attends beginner Ballet and Jazz classes. It's a great friendly atmosphere and the children have a sense of accomplishment. They're affordable and really great with kids!
