David and Nancy Fairclough have been doing business as Topaz Repair & Design Studio in Maui for 34 years. Long time Maui friends and customers have watched their two children grow upright in the shop. As you can see, everyone has changed so much - except for David Fairclough - who somehow remains the same through each new photo!
Speaking of David, he is a European Trained Master Goldsmith apprenticing from the age of 14 in England. Topaz customers certainly have come to love him. Just pull him out of his little cubicle at the front of the store and he'll tell you the best places to eat, where to go, and great jokes. Many of David's exquisite creations fill the store.

Topaz Repair & Design Studio is easy to reach from either Highway 31 (also know as Pi'ilani Highway) or South Kihei Road. Going south towards Wailea on Highway 31 make a right hand turn onto Alanuiu Ke Ali'i Road (past the school) and on down the hill until you come to South Kihei Road. Take a left of South Kihei Road and travel one block - past the ABC Store - until you come to 2395 S Kihei Road.

We have so many friends and customers that pass through Maui Repair & Design Studio that it is hard to keep up with them all. Here are just a few of our recent happy friends who have come in and wanted to give us a "big Aloha." A few years ago during our annual vacation to Maui, we were in need of a jewelry repair.

Topaz has been a major supporter of the "Chinese New Year Lion's Dance" event in Kihei, Maui, for 25 years and still going. Ben Sung Au is the teacher master of this club and brings to Maui the "Lions and Dancers". We would like to thank him for keeping the Chinese tradition. OH MY GOSH.! I hope that downsizing will be a good thing for you ( we sure had to do that! ) and please let me know where you will be?! We aren't coming to Maui anytime soon. Maybe in the fall or next winter for sure. I just wore the BIG amethyst ring David made me, and everyone was oohing and ahhing over it!
