Established by founder Sheila Boltz as a non-profit residential program called Midtown Manor serving individuals with psychiatric disabilities. TPCP pioneers hiring those in recovery from mental illness to mentor others. John Buck incorporated the social rehab model and agency continued to serving individuals in a high-intensity transitional residential treatment program.

John proposes new business plan created to pursue new contracts and funding sources including Alta California Regional Center. Midtown Manor becomes Turning Point Residential Treatment Program with two Augmented Care and Treatment (ACT) homes. John Buck becomes Executive Director. Crisis Residential Program is created to serve as cost-effective alternative to crisis hospitalizations.

Abiding Hope Respite House

ABIDING HOPE is a 7 to 14 day respite facility for individuals 18 years of age and older with psychiatric disability. We provide a short-term alternative to an emergency department visit, or acute hospitalization for persons experiencing overwhelming stress, which can be alleviated with a brief respite stay.
Bender Court Crisis Residential Program CRP

BENDER COURT CRP is a 6 bed short-term crisis residential program that is in partnership with UC Davis. We provide support for adults experiencing a mental health crisis averting the need for psychiatric hospitalization. Bender Court offers a safe, short-term and supportive environment for individuals experiencing mental health challenges with the goal of symptom stabilization.
Crisis Residential Program CRP

CRISIS RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM (CRP) is a comprehensive, short-term residential program that provides a less restrictive alternative to hospitalization. CRP provides treatment for adults experiencing a mental health crisis who require 24-hour support in order to return to community living. The services provided are time-specific, member-focused, and strength-based.
Integrated Services Agency ISA

THE INTEGRATED SERVICES AGENCY (ISA) provides psychosocial, rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services for adults primarily between the ages of 18-59 with psychiatric disabilities and extended histories of long-term hospitalizations. ISA provides member-directed, culturally competent mental health services to enhance the quality of life by empowering individuals to take charge of their own lives by promoting self-care and independence.
Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic MHUCC

THE MENTAL HEALTH URGENT CARE CLINIC (MHUCC) is a walk-in clinic for individuals with an urgent mental health need. The MHUCC is a client-centered program that focuses on providing immediate relief to individuals and families in distress. The program intends to avert psychiatric emergency room visits and involuntary hospitalizations.
