Only at Exum's do you get corners matched when there is a match in the pattern. We also have a corner joining system not available anywhere else in Texas. We use only conservation grade materials for mats and backing, not to be confused with lesser "acid free" materials. The minimum technology for attachment of your item meets Library of Congress standards.
Specialty Framing

Some examples: All types of needlework, done by or for you, heirlooms, etc; silk (scarves are common as are oriental stitching) batiks; jerseys; t-shirts; flags and banners; and more. We occasionally get something we have never seen before. These can be made to either hang on the wall or sit on a table or shelf.
Cleaning and Restoration

An oil painting should not be varnished until six months after completion. An acrylic painting should only be cleaned with a damp cloth - maybe a little mild detergent. They should not be varnished. We do have a coating that protect and brighten them. However, this coating cannot be removed later. After several years an oil may need an emulsion cleaner, then more varnish.
